These terms and conditions apply only to orders made through our online store.

ORDERING AND PAYMENT

You can order by adding products to the shopping cart and paying for them with our online payment service provided by Stripe. Stripe is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider and therefore a highly secure payment method. Stripe does not sell personal information. For more detailed information about Stripe, check www.stripe.com. When ordering, you commit to the current delivery terms.

Once we receive your purchase, we will send you the order confirmation via email. The order confirmation includes all details about your order, such as your order number and the delivery address you provided while ordering. Please, save your order confirmation and provide the order number, if you need to contact customer service regarding your order or its delivery.

Please note that the automatic order confirmation does not mean that your order is fully-accepted. The purchase is valid once we have handled the order and sent you the dispatch confirmation. We reserve the right to cancel your order partly or in full, if the products you have ordered are out of stock. Once we have handled your order, we will send you the dispatch confirmation via email. Then you will be able to track your order via a service provided by PostNord.

DELIVERY

The information provided for the delivery (contact information and address), will be handled confidentially and won’t be used for any other purposes than what is needed for a successful delivery. Currently, we only deliver orders to mainland Finland (i.e. not to Åland). When ordering, you can choose the delivery method based on your preferences.

The domestic shipping cost is 6,50€, which is waived for orders over 85€. The delivery is provided by PostNord and their MyPack Collect -service. The dispatch confirmation sent to you via email after we have handled your order, includes the tracking information.

Additionally, you can choose to pickup your order from Fintage Store (Iso Roobertinkatu 17, 00120 Helsinki) during our current opening hours. We post our current opening hours for order pickups on our Instagram bio. Pickup from Fintage Store is free.

Our handling time (the number of business days between a received purchase and your package being collected by the carrier) is 1-3 days. PostNord’s delivery estimate for domestic deliveries is 1-2 business days (starting, when the package is collected). If any changes occur, we inform you via a separate email.

If the delivery is lost or you have received a wrong delivery, please contact our customer service immediately: info@fintagestore.com. You must inform us about a lost or wrong delivery within 14 days at the latest. If the package is clearly damaged while in transit, you must immediately lodge a complaint with PostNord.

RETURNS

We have a 14-day return policy. If you wish to return items, you must return them no later than 14 days after receiving your order. The refund will be made using the same payment method as used while purchasing. We do not refund shipping costs. Furthermore, you are responsible for any shipping costs associated with returning your order. The shipping cost for a return is 6,50€ and it will be reduced from the total refund amount. However, by returning the item to Fintage Store yourself, you avoid the shipping cost. If you want to return an item from a deal (such as 3 for 2 deals), the deal will be discarded for the refund. Possible boni associated with membership are also cancelled for returned items. If an earned bonus was used for a returned item, we will refund the bonus (amount in euros) as a discount code.

The Fintage Store returns form can be found from the dispatch confirmation sent to you via email and from this link: FINTAGE STORE RETURNS FORM. After filling in the form for returns, you may return the package to any of PostNord’s pickup points or to Fintage Store during our current opening hours (for order pickups). We won’t refund returns sent after 14 days since receiving the returns form. The preprinted return label can be found inside your package and it must be properly placed on the package. Please note that we will make the refund after receiving the item and checking its condition. The condition must be the same as it was when it was purchased.

An unclaimed package is not a refund or a canceled order. For non-redeemed packages, we will charge the delivery cost and the cost for its return. In case of wanting to cancel your order, you must separately contact our customer service info@fintagestore.com.

GENERAL

Products and prices
Most of our pieces are vintage or secondhand. This means that the condition of our products is not comparable to new pieces. There may be signs of wear and tear. However, we strive to inform our customers about any possible flaws in the product description. Generally, our pieces are all in good condition; before put on sale, they are washed, repaired, and ironed according to their washing instructions. We aim to picture the colors of our pieces as true to the actuality as possible (websites), but the colors may slightly differ due to e.g. differences in display settings. We set prices individually for each item, so the prices are not comparable. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs.

Immaterial rights
All the immaterial rights regarding the content of this website (including, but not limiting to, trademarks, domain names, and pictures) belong solely to Fintage Store Oy or to its contractual partners. The immaterial rights are protected by law. Fintage Store Oy owns all the material and content on our websites.

Interpretations and deficiency

If any of the terms and conditions mentioned on this page are deemed invalid fully or partly by law, the invalid part does not affect the validity of other parts of the terms and conditions.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and conditions are governed by Finnish law.

All disputes arising from these terms and conditions or any orders made shall be resolved primarily by negotiations. Not withstanding that, as a consumer you may always bring the dispute to be resolved by the Consumer Dispute Board. Before lodging a complaint with the Consumer Dispute Board, you must contact Consumer Advisory Services.

The processing of personal data, such as the name, address, email, or phone number shall always be in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the country-specific regulations applicable to Finland.

What data do we collect?

Fintage Store Oy collects a series of general data and information when you visit our websites and use our services. Collected may be the IP address and the information you provide for us.

Why do we use your data?

We require your personal data to carry out our services, such as invoicing, deliveries, customer service, reclamations, and direct marketing. We process your personal data for customer relationship management, administration, and development. We may use personal data for certain purposes, such as feedback, user analytics and statistics, direct marketing and advertising, and processing of payment transactions. We respect your privacy in all of our actions and data processing and everything is done in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Our lawful bases for processing your information are:

How long do we store your data?

We store your data only as long and only to the extent where necessary. We take steps to ensure that all personal data will be deleted when the lawful bases for processing cease to be applicable.

Customer data will be stored for the duration of a customer relationship. In addition, we may store your customer data for as long as is necessary for the fulfilling of the rights and obligations of the parties. As a general rule, this means three (3) years.

Order, purchase, delivery and invoicing information will be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations under the Accounting Act. In general, this means six (6) or ten (10) years.

Feedback and survey data will be stored for three (3) years.

Data subject requests are stored for two (years) from making the request.

Data relating to direct marketing is stored as long as we have your consent for storing it.

Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights according to the GDPR:

  • You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at the address above. In general, there is no charge relating to exercising these rights. However, we reserve the right to e.g. issue a reasonable charge for inspecting your personal information, if the amount of requests exceeds one (1) in a year.

We answer your requests in the time provided in the GDPR.

All of your personal data will be handled confidentially and will not be shared with third parties, excluding the necessary information provided for PostNord (delivery service) and Stripe (payment method). Stripe is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider which is the highest level of compliance and payment security standard merchants can comply with to securely store, transmit, and process credit card information. Our customers have the possibility to voluntarily register for Fintage Store membership. This personal data is collected and stored exclusively for internal use and for our own purposes. The membership enables Fintage Store Oy to offer services, contents, and benefits exclusively to its registered members. Fintage Store Oy informs its members via email about upcoming events, deals, or other benefits.
